Members of the community are hereby invited to submit written comments or representation on the intention of the West Coast District Municipality to enter into an agreement with Amoeba TSC for the establishment of the Weskus Data Centre – Council Resolution 25/10/17/9.4 dated 17 October 2025.
In terms of Sections 25 of the Municipal Supply Chain Management Regulations, 2005 the West Coast District Municipality revolved to utilise the two-stage bidding process – Section 25 (3) of mentioned Regulations highlight the following: “In the second stage final technical proposals and price bids should be invited”.
As per Section 25 of the mentioned regulations, this intends to inform regarding the West Coast District Municipality’s intent and to invite amongst under technical proposals & bids regarding the Weskus Data Centre.
Comments or representations must be in writing and addressed to: The Municipal Manager, PO Box 242, Moorreesburg 7310 or by e-mail to jcptesselaar@wcdm.co.za within 30 days from the date of this notice.
Any person who cannot write may visit the offices at 58 Long Street Moorreesburg Western Cape during normal office hours where a staff member of the municipality will assist to transcribe any comments or representation.
