Weskus Distrik honours South Africa’s workers and remembers those who fought for their rights. Today, we are also reminded of the role that we must play in building a better South Africa for all.
We identify with the aspirations of our Weskus communities and vigorously pursue our value of inclusiveness, playing our role in a region that all can identify with and feel at home in. Two of Weskus Distrik’s values talk directly to these promises – ‘aspirational’ and ‘inclusiveness’ must go hand in hand.
Our Weskus Distrik team commits to running a solid municipality, always mindful that we manage precious resources for the benefit of our residents. In doing so, we observe the regulations and acts designed to protect residents. However, we will never sleep on actions needed to improve the lives of those who believe in and trust us.
We too see ourselves as ‘workers’, working tirelessly and intelligently to make a difference not only in our own Weskus region but South Africa as well.
