Applications are hereby invited from people/institutions to submit projects (business opportunities)
Council in terms of Resolution 24/08/21/10.9 dated 21 August 2024 established a Business Excellence & Innovation Hub facilitating the following outcomes:
- Allow people/institutions (established & non-established businesses) to submit innovative & business excellence related opportunities to the West Coast District Municipality
- Allow people/institutions (established & non-established businesses) the ease of doing business with a Local Authority (West Coast area)
- Facilitate projects & initiatives to enhance community service delivery and better the lives of the West Coast Community
- Facilitate projects & initiatives to enhance community service delivery and better the lives of the West Coast Community
People/Institutions/Businesses that want to participate must provide an executive summary of the project/business, not more then three (3) pages on the submitting person/institution business and high-level project business cost/costing. Please forward documentation to Dr. Johan Tesselaar (jcptesselaar@wcdm.co.za) and/or Ms.Megan Claasen (msclaasen@wcdm.co.za).
Documents to be assessed by the Business Excellence & Innovation Hub Advisory
Committee for recommendation to the Council for preliminary assessment.
Please do not forward detailed information and/or business plans (including intellectual property) – once preliminary approval has been granted/concluded, the process as per the Municipal Supply Chain Regulations will continue (including request for detail documentation).
