Found on the western edge of the Hantam Karoo, and east of the Bokkeveld Escarpment, you’ll walk through a flower field (in season) and get to a surging waterfall. With its many species of the finest Cape fynbos and diverse species of flora, it’s known as the bulb capital of the world.

For those looking for peace and quiet, Garies answers the call. The lavishness of blossoms during spring is something to behold, and it’s a renowned arid biodiversity spot. Over 40% of what you’ll find in Garies and surrounds is unique to the area.
