Sharing exhibitors on were West Coast Peninsula Tourism and Langebaan Country estate The number of buyers decreased at this year’s tourism Indaba, said CEO of SA Tourism, Thulani Nzima. “At the moment we are not looking good in terms of buyers. The number of buyers is down by just under 20% from last year,” said Nzima “but we are still going to finalise those numbers.” Nzima was speaking at a media briefing on Monday at this year’s Indaba show, at the Durban International Convention Centre (ICC). According to Nzima, SA Tourism painstakingly vetted buyers for Indaba 2015 and there is a strong focus on quality. He said the success of Indaba is not just about numbers, it is also about the quality of meetings.
